    lush garden
    fresh breakfast
    shared bathroom

    Hidden gem in Taormina 🌄

The garden is like a little paradise to chill in after exploring. We had brekkie with fresh fruits straight from the trees, so lekker! Also loved the knack for history, the art all around, it really takes you back in time.

The shared bathroom situation was a bit awkward at times, but they kept it clean, so not a biggie.

The views from the Junior Suite with Terrace were amazing, especially the backdrop of Mount Etna. The variety in breakfast offerings was delicious and the staff were really good, especially Maria who gave an informative museum tour. The gardens and pool area was great.

The panoramic views from the rooms, especially the balconies, are jaw-dropping-sipping your morning coffee while gazing at Mount Etna can't be beat. Plus, the rich artistic ambiance and historical decor of the place really pull you into its unique charm.

Unfortunately, the steep walking paths can be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues. The bed in our suite was harder than I'd expected, leading to a couple of rough nights of sleep. There's also a distinct lack of dining options on-site for lunch or dinner, meaning you need to venture out, and the limited breakfast hours were a bit too restrictive for my taste.

    amazing views
    delicious breakfast
    steep walk
    night reception
    taxi issues

The fine views from the Junior Suite Terrace were a highlight, with a perfect backdrop for morning coffee. Enjoying breakfast with organic jams made from local fruits was a good start to each day. The steep walk from the town proved quite taxing, and the lack of night reception staff was concerning during a noisy party at a nearby hotel. A taxi arrangement with the hotel fell through, leaving us without an alternative option.

ideal for exploring taormina's highlights and fine views

Staying here reminded me of a good experience, especially with the very nice ambiance in our room with a Picasso on the wall and amazing views of Taormina and Mt. Etna from the terrace. It's also within a 5-minute walk to Corso Umberto, where we found countless shops and restaurants ready to explore.

The view from our junior suite was magical! Breakfast included local cheeses and homemade cakes , made the mornings good. The gardens were a peaceful retreat.

The steep paths surrounding the hotel can be a bit of a workout, so keep that in mind when strolling around.
